  • Incorporating a seed phrase is optional with Pinechip Wallet. Key generation can be done using the embedded TRNG for direct storage within the chip, using the Pinechip app to generate and transfer a seed phrase, or by importing a seed phrase from another wallet. While the card-generated keys are secure, seed phrases pose a risk as they can be copied or stolen.

  • No, loss or damage to your phone does not affect your access to funds. Simply download the Pinechip app on any alternative mobile device and use your card for access. The phone merely acts as an interface; the real security and data reside within the chip of your card, which can be paired with multiple devices.
